Face book, I love you man.

I know. I recently had lunch with a guy who I knew when I was 3. They now have a 7 month old. We are both Mexicans living in London. It was very cool but also a bit bizarre!

Mom, do you remember Mali Saurragarti? Her family lived over on (I think it was) Shoshone street, near South Jr. High. I had her in just 6th grade; then she went to South and Borah. I found her because I joined this group on FB called "Private Idaho" which is people I hung around with in the years following highschool, when I was dating Darren (remember him? He was in several bands at the time). Anyway, she joined that group too and I reminded her that Kim and I had played in her treehouse in 6th grade. I also shared with her that crazy class photo from 6th grade (which she's in of course) where the teacher is holding a toy hand-gun to a student's head. Remember Mr. Gleason?? So once I posted THAT picture, all these other people from Boise came forward and remembered him from a private school they had all gone to (with Mali) near Fort Boise; he'd taught them all there. Then once that school closed down, he transferred to Hawthorn and so did Mali. Weird, huh??

Dude. Yes. I finally found a friend on there that made me say, "I'm so glad that I signed up for this. It makes all those stupid Lil Green Patches worth it all."
