blogger of the year

Wow, I suck at blogging lately. If I haven't already lost all three of my regular readers, it's a miracle. I just don't have much to say. There are no political rants I need to get off my chest, no soap-box to climb up on, and nobody is pissing me off. How is this possible? God, it's BORING being happy and well-adjusted.

Hmmm...there were 3 pipe-bombs found in a home 3 blocks from our house, one block from the jr. high school. There goes the neighborhood.

Um...I have a trip coming up. Anna and I are going to Oregon next week. We'll stay the night with Lala in Portland and then we're going over to the coast to see Rod (Uncle Ra Ra) and Julie. There will be music, wine, good food, great friends and walking on the beach. Can't wait.

And...guess what? It's supposed to SNOW here this weekend! Yay! Because who can get enough snow? Not me! Bring it on!!!

What's interesting in your world?

Well, today I did 2 different surveillances. One, a deadbeat dad and a mom whose ex husband wants to know what she does after she drops her daughter off at school. She did nothing. So I sat for over 4 hours watching her house. Now is that exciting or what?

I'm in the same boat - been a very bad blogger. But don't worry - you haven't lost me as a reader.

I'd LOVE to go to Portland.

Hey you gotta have a "dry" spell now and then so you can re-charge that witty mind of yours. Me I've been on jury duty for a two day trial that was totally unecessary by those people who refuse to take responsibility for their stupidness and want to blame judge and jury if they still remain guilty. This all happened following four days of bliss in Palm desert east of Palm Springs. We picked fresh grapefruit and made the Margarita just how it should be...how it was meant to be and how it makes life so worthwhile that even cactus don't hurt when you run into them. I hope to fix an outside water spigot that has sprung a pin hole leak that sprays water like those expensive irrigation hoses you buy at Loews..........but this will require serious fixin' that could include pipe cutting and plastic prothesis before normal conditions are achieved. And while jury duty ate up my days, the auto thermostat on the hot water heater quietly died so there was no hot water for a morning shower. That to will require surgery and thermostat transplants. Gee don't ever recall these conditions being present in the house I grew up in. Even the washer and dryer maintained their endless cycles of life.
