we need a punch line

"What do you get when you have a badger going through menopause?"*

*David's response, when I told him I've been having night sweats.

RUN EVERYBODY RUN !-------I thought Linda was already doing that.
That really is scary, but definately explains a lot of the scary things you 've done lately. An "out of the closet" many things.
welllll, in a few years, it will be over and we can all relax. Just remember, we love you !

Yep, Lala is deep into it. Snarrrllll,....

It's not so bad. But I refuse to become old before I'm ready. So I'm using hormone replacement theapy. They say you can just accept the coming of age, deal with the night sweats, hot flashes, weird periods and massive mood swings and just get it over with. Or you can take replacement hormones and deal with it more easily. Since I have a new husband that I'm not ready to loose, I chose the latter. :0)

It makes me a kinder, gentler badger.

Mom, I'm afraid being "pre menopausal" has nothing to do with coming out of the closet. You're just hoping I'll quietly go back in there, aren't you??

Lala? Does your dr. know about your family history of breast cancer? Cuz I think you're not supposed to take estrogen.

Yes, she knows the family history of cancer. And actually, I'm taking progesterone.
