....I sewed some new pillows for our couch in the TV room...David does not share my love of kitsch, but I figured with the deer on here, he'd be ok with them. I can tell he prefers the old, fugly, brown ones, but what does he know? The only thing he has good taste in in dogs and women.
...we went for a lovely bike-ride on Sunday...
...oh, and I ran 18 miles and lived to tell about it!
Hope you are enjoying the last few weekends of summer. I can not believe school starts in a week and a half.

Kate--read your profile and had to tell you I saw Neko Case in concert a couple of weeks ago and am seeing Sufjan Stevens in about a month!
18 MILES, PEOPLE. 18. Just wow... how long did that take you?
Melissa, now I really love you! We have excellent taste in music! :)
Heather, I'm trying something new (that might work for you, actually); we run for 9 minutes and then walk (fast) for 1 minute. It actually helps our pace during the running periods. We averaged just under 10 minute miles...which, you know, isn't going to win any races, but I'm gonna finish that marathon!
That's a great idea. And I know you are!! I can't wait to see you cross that finish line!
So very cute pillows! You should sell them on Etsy.
18 miles? I can't even run to the corner without having an asthma attack. You go girl!
I love the pillows ! You are something ! That's is NOT artsy crafty ----that's classy and useful AND decorative.
Tallulah is right----you could sell your pillows and they would SCOOPED UP !
1. I wish I could sew. Really.
2. I wish I could run 18 miles. And not die.
3. I wish I had a rabbit now.
Root Beer ------ Anna has the most unusual names for her pets. And this one is adorable. And, yes, you have a green eyed dog there. But patient.
Mom, he's named Rootbeer cuz he came home from the Seed 'n' Feed store in a rootbeer box. So it was a no-brainer. ;)
