I carried that child in my womb for 10 months. I put cool washcloths on her forehead, sing to her and rub her back when she's sick. I nursed her until she was twelve, for gods sake.

On the other hand, David was thrilled to be in the top 3.

Fance, they are friends of our from Oregon (where Anna was born and we lived until she was 3).
Rod, aka Uncle Ra Ra, is in his 50s, never had kids and frankly, I don't think he particularly liked them. But, like a cat, at our dinner parties she always ended up on HIS lap. She just decided, from the time she could walk, that he was HERS. And she wore him down. :) Rod and Julie do a great job of keeping in touch, always remember her birthday etc. They are WONDERFUL people. But they suck. ;)
Well, to Anna, they are perfect. Just the greatest people . See, they don't tell her to clean her room, or study, or any of that bad stuff.

Kate, you HAVE to see this video!! It's got a group of 200 dancers in Belgium who only rehearsed this dance twice before putting on a performance. They're dancing to the Sound of Music...
